THE TEAMS ARE GATHERED READY FOR COMPETITION..

Although the day started off dull and damp, the clouds soon rolled away, and the sun came out. After all the teams had established their Team Bases, and registered, racing started shortly after 10.00am. Each team raced three times during the day, and 5 teams qualified for the ‘predominately ladies crews’ trophy, and 6 teams for the overall final, which was held at approx 4.15pm.

THE SIX BOAT FINAL. THE LAST FEW METRES

The Ladies final was won by Stuarts Big Kiss in a time of 56.86 secs. This was followed by the most exciting Grand final, with only 4.24 secs separating the 6 boats, and only 1.66 secs between the first 3. Stuarts Big Kiss also qualified for the Grand Final and finished a very commendable fourth, and the overall winner of the Stuart Wardell Memorial Trophy was CHAPPERS LEGEND (who were 4th last year) in a time of 54.82secs.
